Football Player Aaron Ramsey Increases Bounty for Lost Canine in Mexican Territory to £15k
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has increased the bounty for information regarding his lost pet Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
the dog, who went missing on 9 October, was had on a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey published a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of information regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Substantial reward for locating her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and can be back to our family quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Pleas
The footballer initially revealed that Halo had gone missing two weeks ago and has since shared numerous photos of the beloved canine on his social media account.
A $10,000 incentive was initially announced, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the reward.
"We just want our girl returned," he expressed in another appeal on social media after the 10-year-old dog went missing.
The most recent image post is a grayscale image of Halo napping, its head resting in the crook of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "What I'd do to cuddle you again sweet Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
The footballer has also shared a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have several "serious queries" regarding the incident and fear the household "could possibly not get clarity".
"We have yet to have not located our dog. I don't think we ever will," the spouse's update expressed.
The Wales captain signed with Mexico's top-flight club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born footballer is the pioneering prominent British Isles athlete to play in the Mexico's top division.
