The well-known TCG's company, the game's creators, unveiled a highly anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration during a exclusive panel held at NYCC. “If we ever go back to the Kamigawa plane, we might use the original ability because that plane is it originated and it is iconic to that,” a senior designer stated. “However on other planes, since the mechanics are smoother and Sneak will be in standard, it's more likely that we'd use Sneak.”

Another version of the leader Turtle, Sewer Samurai card, is among four special cards with special art designed exclusively for the set by TMNT original artist the co-creator.

Following a decision to design any pre-constructed Commander decks for Spider-Man and the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender collaborations, Wizards is reversing course with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This time it’s just a single precon, but it includes six different legendary creatures who could work as your commander based on how you pair them (five cards include a unique Partner mechanic called “Character Select” that allows starting with two commanders in the command zone rather than only one). The Turtle Power precon is set at $69.99, although the price may rise due to popularity. Sources indicated that it contains 43 new cards altogether, which translates to an additional thirty-seven Turtle-themed cards besides the six legendary creatures pictured above. (Doing some rough math, this suggests about 20 reprints if we assume the deck includes 37 lands.)

For those curious about the “pizza bundle promo” is, it’s essentially a reprint of an older card with all-new Turtle-themed artwork. Wizards revealed one for the popular Magic card Dark Ritual featuring art of Splinter sprinkling black licorice pieces onto a pizza slice. In total, there are six distinct Pizza Bundle promo cards available.

This special bundle launches a few weeks after the main set on March 27, 2026.

Draft Bundle

This unique product is designed for a four-player draft and is priced at $119.99. That will get you:

• Twelve Play Boosters (ideal for four people to play draft)

Turtle Team-Up

Lastly, the developers are doing something new with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as part of its ongoing effort to develop Magic game products specifically for beginners. Here, Turtle Team-Up is a special set of decks that allow two players team up against a “Boss” deck that plays automatically.
